Lamping Named Crossroads League Golfer of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS – Taylor's Mitch Lamping was named the Crossroads League Golfer of the Week for the week of April 17-22, the league office announced this week.

Lamping carded a two-round score of 5-under par 139 to claim his third career collegiate victory at the Ackermna-Allen Classic last week. The junior from Liberty Township, Ohio fired rounds of 71 and 68 to edge teammate Nick Waskom by one shot for the win.

Lamping's performance propelled the Trojans to the team title with a record-breaking two-round total of 10-under par 566.

This is the second time in Lamping's career he has earned Crossroads League Golfer of the Week honors with the first being on April 3, 2016.
