James Wins Third Player-of-the-Week Honor

AVON, Ohio – After a pair of tremendous performances last week, Lauren James was named the Crossroads League Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday.
In victories over RV Indiana Wesleyan and Grace, the junior guard averaged 22.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. Against the Lancers, James dominated, scoring 26 points on eight-of-10 shooting, all from beyond the arc. Her eight makes from the perimeter was one shy of the single-game program record.
Additionally, the Seymour, Indiana native facilitated the basketball well, collecting eight assists and contributing on 47 of TU's 78 points.
James picked up her third CL Player-of-the-Week recognition this season, and her second in the last three weeks, giving Taylor a total of 10 athlete-of-the-week honors this year.
Taylor (8-3, 4-2 CL) will be back in action on Monday evening, facing off against Governors State University (0-5) in a 6:00 pm start.
