Anderson Named NAIA Scholar-Athlete

UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor University's Lauren Anderson has been named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete for women's golf.
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) recently announced its 2014-15 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for all spring sports. Anderson, a senior from Minneapolis, Minn., earned the distinction for the Trojans.
In order to be eligible to be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status at their current institution.
Anderson was one of 129 women's golf student-athletes to earn the distinction, including one of six in the Crossroads League.
