Sauder Named as Cliff Harris Award Nominee

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Taylor's Adam Sauder has been nominated for the 2015 Cliff Harris Award. The third-year award is designed to recognize the best small college defensive players in the nation.
Sauder is among 108 student-athletes from NAIA, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III institutions to be nominated, one year after being tabbed as one of 38 finalists for the award in 2014.
Sauder ended his senior season with a team-leading 97 tackles, while posting eight hits for lost yardage, two sacks and two interceptions. The strong safety was named the Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Defensive Player of the Year and claimed First-Team All-MSFA honors.
Finalists for the 2015 Cliff Harris Award will be announced in mid-December, with the winner being announced on December 24 and honored at the Little Rock Touchdown Club's annual awards banquet in February. The winner will receive the $3,000 Cliff Harris Award trophy.
