Coffey Earns NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honor

KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics recently announced its 2014-2015 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for men's basketball, with Taylor's Jesse Coffey representing the Trojans on that list.
In order to be eligible to be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status at their current institution.
Coffey was among a list of 131 men's basketball student-athletes from around the nation to be named as a 2014-2015 NAIA Scholar-Athlete and was among 17 student-athletes from the Crossroads League to earn the honor.
