Taylor Basketball Honored with 2025-26 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award

UPLAND, Ind. – The NABC announced its Team Academic Excellence Awards and NABC Honors Court awards earlier this week with Taylor's men's basketball team earning the distinction and four athletes recognized on the NABC Honors Court.
The four athletes recognized for the Trojans were Pete Combs with a 3.66 GPA as a finance major, Nate Paarlberg with a 3.84 GPA in his computer science courseload, Anthony McGhee with a 3.07 GPA as a finance major and Jackson Ullom with a 3.79 GPA in his politics and law courseload.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.
