Tennis NAIA Scholar-Athletes Announced

UPLAND, Ind. – Seniors Kelsey Chow of Taylor women's tennis and Devin Moore of Taylor men's tennis each have been named Daktronics Scholar-Athletes, as recently announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
In order to be eligible to be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status at their current institution.
Pikeville (Ky.) led all institutions with six individuals on the list on the men's side, while Missouri Baptist led all institutions with six individuals for the women.
Moore is one of 110 men's tennis student-athletes from around the nation and one of 19 Crossroads League student-athletes to earn the distinction. Chow is one of 19 Crossroads League women's tennis student-athletes and one of 135 total women's tennis student-athletes to be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete for the 2014-2015 school year.
