Bio
2014 – 2015 at Taylor: The sophomore finished 1-10 overall in singles play during the fall season, playing most of his matches at No. 5 singles and also playing some at the No. 4 and No. 6 positions for the Trojans…Earned one of Taylor’s two team points in a 7-2 regular season loss to Grace, defeating Gabe Vervynckt in No. 5 singles play 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-4)…Went 0-6 in doubles play, teaming up with Alex Jung, Antoine Timbers, and Chris Robbins for matches at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
2013 – 2014 at Taylor: Forte finished his freshman campaign with an overall record of 3-5 in singles play and 2-7 in doubles play…Went 1-1 at No. 6 singles and 2-2 at No. 6 singles in dual matches…Played doubles with four different Trojans throughout the fall and spring seasons in Matt Kalustian, Carter Perry, Austin Lindner and Collin Williams.
Prep: From Colorado Springs, Colorado, Forte was home schooled…A captain for his tennis team and qualified for the State Tournament in 2011 and 2012…Posted a grade point average of 3.9 and excelled in playing the piano, winning four city-wide piano competitions…Qualified for the National Debate Championships.
Personal: Son of Jerry and Denise Forte…Majoring in Communication Studies.
