Ramirez Earns All-Crossroads League Honors

INDIANAPOLIS – Junior Juan Ramirez of Taylor men's tennis has been named to the All-Crossroads League team, as recently announced by the league office.
Ramirez, from Ibarra, Ecuador, played at No. 1 singles and doubles in 2015 for the Trojans, finishing 7-4 in singles play. Ramirez was seeded 12th in the ITA Regional Championships and advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to Iustin Baciu from the University of Northwestern Ohio. Ramirez finished 4-3 in regular season league play at No. 1 singles.
In doubles, alongside partner Alex Jung, Ramirez finished 10-7 overall and 5-3 against Crossroads League competition.
TU finished its season fifth in Crossroads League standings at 4-4. The Trojans ended their fall season 5-7 overall, with Ramirez at the top of the lineup.
