NAIA Release
UPLAND, Ind. – The first in-season NAIA Top-25 Poll was released on Thursday, in which the Taylor men's cross-country squad was ranked 13th.
The Trojans have begun the season strong with a third-place showing at the IWU Twilight Invitational before a second-place finish at the Ray Bullock Invite.
Nathan Burns has burst onto the scene as a freshman, recording two top-five finishes, including a victory in the Ray Bullock Invite, in which he set the new course record by over 11 seconds. His outstanding performance fueled the Trojans to set a team record for the course as well.
Sophomore Luke Harber has held steady as the number two runner for Taylor, setting a new personal best time of 25:28.00 in the first race of the year.
Ben Eiffert, Ryan Hanak, Zach McKowen, and Zane Callison have all finished in the TU top five throughout two races, with multiple runners close behind.
The Trojans' next race comes on Saturday, September 30, at the Louisville Cross Country Class, which is set to begin at 10:45 am.
