Bradbury, Wyse and Cobb Named All-Crossroads League

AVON, Ohio – Taylor's Kendall Bradbury, Cassidy Wyse and Josie Cobb were named 2017-2018 Women's Basketball All-Crossroads League performers, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Bradbury continues to collect all-league awards in her career, as the junior was voted First-Team All-Crossroads League for a second-straight season, becoming just the fourth player in TU history to earn first-team all-league honors more than once. Bradbury was named Second-Team All-Crossroads League and Crossroads League Newcomer of the Year as a freshman.
Bradbury has started all 33 games on the year for TU, producing career-highs of 23.5 points and 10.2 rebounds per contest, while shooting a career-best 50.2 percent from the field and dishing out a career-high 2.5 assists per game. Bradbury's scoring average currently tops all NAIA Division II players, while her rebounding average ranks 11th and her 16 double-doubles rank fifth.
The Highlands Ranch, Colorado native has also altered the TU record book this season, reaching 2,000 points in her 94th game to become the fastest to the career milestone in program history, while shattering the single-season scoring record and the single-season record for most field goals made. The All-American forward has netted 777 points on 285 made field goals in 2017-2018, including a TU single-game record 41 points in a 19-point home win over No. 13 Olivet Nazarene on December 16.
Wyse was named to the All-Crossroads League Second-Team, giving the senior all-league recognition in all four seasons with the Purple and Gold. Wyse earned Honorable Mention All-Crossroads League honors following her junior and freshman seasons, while being selected as Third-Team All-Crossroads League as a sophomore and Crossroads League Newcomer of the Year as a freshman.
The Archbold, Ohio native has played and started in all 33 games this season, averaging a career-high 13.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals per contest. Wyse has also knocked down a career-high 61 triples this season, after making just 25 threes in her first three seasons combined, and became the 10th player in team history to reach 1,500 career points in the Crossroads League Tournament Championship Game on Monday night at Marian.
Cobb garnered Third-Team All-Crossroads League honors, her second-career all-league selection, as she was a member of the All-Freshmen Team during her first season with the Trojans.
The New Holland, Ohio native has played and started in all 33 games, averaging career-highs of 10.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and a team-best 3.2 assists per game. Cobb became the 24th player in TU women's basketball history to reach 1,000 career points at No. 5 Marian on January 6, and the senior guard has set single-game career-highs for made three-pointers (5), rebounds (13) and assists (7) thus far in 2017-2018.
The dynamic trio has led No. 18 Taylor to the most wins in Crossroads League play in program history (14) and a 23-10 overall record during the 2017-2018 campaign, while helping the Trojans secure an automatic bid to the NAIA Division II National Championship Tournament by reaching the championship game of the league tournament against Marian.
The All-Crossroads League honors are voted on by the 10 head coaches from around the league and announced by the Crossroad League office.
