JACKSON, Mich. – Taylor University guard Emma Fohl earned a spot on the 2025-2026 Crossroads League Women's Basketball Preseason All-League Team, the conference office announced Tuesday alongside its annual preseason poll.
Fohl, a sophomore from Liberty Township, Ohio, started all 28 games as a freshman, leading the Trojans in both assists and steals. Fohl averaged 3.4 assists per game — sixth in the league — and recorded five or more helpers in eight contests during the 2024-2025 campaign.
Fohl enters her second season as Taylor's third-leading returning scorer after averaging 7.9 points per game last year, including eight double-figure performances. She elevated her game in conference play, averaging 8.7 points while shooting nearly 50 percent combined in December and January.
The preseason recognition comes as Fohl joins six other returners on a TU squad tied for eighth in the CL preseason poll.
Taylor opens its season Saturday, Oct. 25, at Holy Cross College. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. ET.
