Elenbaas and Helton Named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics recently announced its list of 2018 Daktronics Women's Golf Scholar-Athletes, with Taylor's Grace Elenbaas and Raquel Helton earning the distinction.
In order to be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status at their current institution.
Elenbaas and Helton were among 156 women's golf student-athletes from around the nation to be named 2018 NAIA Scholar-Athletes and were two of the 7 student-athletes recognized from the Crossroads League.
The Trojans claimed their second straight Crossroads League title during the 2017-18 season and finished the season with a fifth place finish at the NAIA National Championship.
