Fletchall Claims NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors

KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics recently announced its list of 2018 Daktronics Women's Tennis Scholar-Athletes, with Taylor's Molly Fletchall making the list.
In order to be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status at their current institution.
Fletchall was among the 157 women's tennis student-athletes from around the nation to be named as 2018 NAIA Scholar-Athletes and were two of the 22 student-athletes from the Crossroads League to be recognized.
TU went 10-7 during the 2017-2018 season and finished with a 6-3 mark in league play. In postseason action, the Trojans advanced to the league semifinals before falling to Indiana Wesleyan.
