Flagle Named CL Defender-of-the-Week Following Terrific Outings

JACKSON, Mich. – McKaylah Flagle was named the Crossroads League Defender-of-the-Week on Monday, after anchoring the TU defense in a perfect 2-0 week.
Flagle was outstanding in the back row as the Trojans upset No. 13 MVNU in five sets. The libero put up 34 digs, five assists, and 22 serve receives as the team tallied an incredible 103 digs to take down the Cougars.
The senior was outstanding in a dominant sweep of Goshen as well, racking up 15 digs, five assists and three service aces. The New Palestine, Indiana native's numbers rounded out to an eye-popping 6.1 digs per set while adding 1.25 assists per set.
The award is the third of Flagle's career, and it marks the 20th weekly honor for Taylor this year.
Flagle and No. 21 Taylor (16-7, 7-4 CL) head on the road to face Grace (12-11, 5-6 CL) on Wednesday, October 15, beginning at 7:00 pm.
