Harden and Schroder Earn All-American Honors
KANSAS CITY – For the second time in TU women's cross country history, two Trojans earned NAIA All-American honors in the same year, as Sarah Harden and Livy Schroder earned the recognition for finishing within the top-30 at the NAIA Cross Country National Championships on November 22.
The duo has finished as the two fastest Trojans in all six races this season.
Sarah Harden was distinguished as a NAIA All-American for the third-time, following her fifth-place finish at Nationals. The junior picked up her third sub-18:00 mark for the season, while setting a season-record with a time of 17:51. Harden has placed in the top-five in every race this year, including an individual victory at the Great Lakes Challenge.
Livy Schroder finished her junior year grabbing the 26th-spot at Nationals to land her first NAIA All-American honor in a time of 18:31. Schroder put together a strong season with five top-eight placements. The junior posted a career-personal best time of 18:06 at the Indiana Wesleyan Invite, and logged sub-18:47 marks in all six races this season.
Harden is the first three-time All-American in the history of the program. Schroder joins Harden (2019, 2018, 2017), Alex Berends (2018, 2014) and Lolly York (2005, 2006) as the eighth NAIA All-American in program history.
