Taylor Remains Unanimous No. 1 in NAIA Top-25 Rankings

UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor women's cross country team were the unanimous No. 1 team in the NAIA Top-25 Ranking released on Thursday for a second-consecutive week.
The Trojans competed in the Seminole Invite against a field of mostly NCAA Division I teams in their most recent race. Taylor had a strong showing with the fourth-fastest team time at 1:50:42.5, which is the fifth-fastest 6k team time in program history. TU finished seventh with 197 points, one behind Miami (Fla.) and over 200 points better than the closest NAIA school, No. 11 SCAD Savannah.
Jaynie Halterman reset her own NAIA 6k record time by 20 seconds racing at the site of this season's NAIA National Championships in Tallahassee, Florida.
Taylor (46-6) hosts the Ray Bullock Invite on Friday, October 10, in Upland, Indiana for its next competition against a highly competitive field of NAIA schools.
