- Posted 659-176 (.789) record over 24 years as NAIA women’s basketball head coach
- Led programs at Indiana Wesleyan, Saint Francis (IL) and Marian
- Guided teams to 18 seasons of at least 25 wins and reached 20 wins in all but two seasons
- Coached 22 of his teams to the NAIA National Tournament
- Led IWU to NAIA National Championships in 2007 and 2013
- Piled up 13 regular season conference titles
- Steered squads to conference tourney titles eight times
- Was an 11-time Coach of the Year in his conference
- Two-time NAIA National Coach of the Year
- Set NAIA record with 56-straight wins from 2006 through 2008
- Logged 37-straight weeks at No. 1 in the NAIA Top-25 Poll during record-setting win streak
- Coached 26 NAIA All-Americans
- Also spent seven years as head men’s basketball coach at Houghton University
- Started coaching career at Taylor on staff with Hall of Famer Paul Patterson
- Played collegiately at TU from 1977 through 1980
- Was a three-year starter on the hardwood for the Trojans
