Sauder, Lashbrook and Lundberg Tabbed as Preseason All-Americans
USA College Football NAIA Division All-American Team
UPLAND, Ind. – AmericanFootballNetworks.com recently announced its preseason honors, naming Taylor University's Adam Sauder, Shawn Lashbrook and Hans Lundberg to its 2015 Preseason All-American Team.
Sauder was the lone Trojan to receive First-Team Preseason All-America recognition, following his selection to the 2014 American Football Coaches Association First-Team All-America Team as a junior. The strong safety ended his 2014 campaign with 116 tackles and six interceptions to rank No. 7 in the NAIA in interceptions and No. 15 in tackles per game.
Lashbrook was named as a Second-Team Preseason All-America selection after netting 107.8 receiving yards per game during an injury-plagued 2014 campaign. Despite playing in only four games during his junior season, Lashbrook earned a second-straight All-Mid-States Football Association honor with 28 receptions and four touchdown catches.
Lundberg also battled injuries as a junior in 2014 but still garnered All-MSFA honors and joined Lashbrook as a Second-Team Preseason All-America selection. The tight end pulled down 20 receptions and scored three touchdowns, including game-winning touchdown catches in Taylor's victories over No. 8 Robert Morris and No. 17 Saint Ambrose.
Taylor will open its 2015 campaign on September 5, when it hosts Anderson University in a 7:00 pm start.
