2014 – 2015 at Taylor: As a junior Degenkolb played in all 31 contests and started in six, playing primarily from the small forward position…Averaged just over 20 minutes played per game as one of Taylor’s primary contributors off the bench…Contributed 5.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists a contest…Owned a team best assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.3…Had six double-figure scoring games which included a career-high 18 points in the road win against Spring Arbor on January 10…All of Degenkolb’s 18 points in the competition came in the opening half as she found a rhythm to go 7-of-12 from the floor and 4-of-7 from three point territory against the Cougars…Posted a line of 15 points, seven rebounds and three assists in Taylor’s Christmas Classic victory over Rochester on December 30…An NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
2013 – 2014 at Taylor: Played in all 31 games for the Trojans and was in the starting five for 15 contests…Played just under 20 minutes per game on her way to averages of 5.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and one assist…Connected on 34-of-101 attempts from three-point range for a 33.7 percent clip…Had eight double-figure scoring games…Had ten games with two or more triples…Knocked down a total of seven three-pointers in the season’s first two games, scoring 12 points and 13 points against No. 21 Purdue Calumet and Robert Morris (Ill.), respectively…Also had a career-high eight rebounds in the loss to Robert Morris (Ill.)…Contributed a team-high 17 points on 4-of-8 shooting from deep in a 61-59 loss to Mount Vernon Nazarene on February 6.
2012 – 2013 at Taylor: Appeared in 15 games as a true freshman, averaging just over four minutes played per contest…Scored 12 points on the season with eight coming against Saint Mary-of-the-Woods on November 11, also contributing seven rebounds and two blocks in the victory.
Prep: Degenkolb is from Tipton, Indiana and attended Tipton High School…Lettered all four years in basketball and was a four-time All-Conference standout…Named to the All-Area Team two years…Awarded team Most Valuable Player honors for two seasons…Received the IBCA Character and Leadership Award…Also played AAU with the Indiana Explosion…Tipton’s Valedictorian and a member of the National Honor Society.
