Women's Soccer Collects 16 NAIA Scholar Athletes Awards

KANSAS CITY – The 2022 Taylor women's soccer team reached great heights not only on the field but also achieved highly in the classroom, as evidenced by 16 NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athlete awards.
The Trojans had 18 eligible players for NAIA Scholar Athlete, which makes the 16 awards an impressive feat and a nod to the commitment to academics within the program.
Hannah Brackenbury, Emma Carrell, Naomi Diller, Emma Goebel, Audrey Grimm, Rachel Landis, Claire Massey, Caroline Monberg, Sarah Mullins, Chloe Sena, Sydney Thompson, Lauren Cina, Hannah Dempsey, Claire Nieshalla, Emma Shoemaker, and Sophie Snyder were among 1,557 women's soccer student-athletes from around the country honored for their achievements in the classroom.
To be eligible for an NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while having attended one full year at their current institution.
