JACKSON, Mich. – Taylor University's Eliza Luttrell picked up her second Crossroads League Offensive Player of the Week award, announced Monday by league headquarters as part of the top individual performances from October 13 through 19.
Luttrell scored three goals and dished out one assist for No. 16 Taylor in wins over Saint Francis and Mount Vernon Nazarene. The junior forward produced one goal and one helper against USF, before scoring both of TU's goals in a 2-0 triumph against MVNU.
With her top performance last week, Luttrell now ranks second in the league with 12 goals, third in points (32) and fourth in assists (8). She's the first TU women's soccer player to score 12 goals in a season since 2018.
The weekly CL recognition is the fifth award this season for TU women's soccer, with previous honorees including Luttrell (Sept. 15), Brianna Rawlings (Oct. 13, Sept. 8) and Campbell Massey (Aug. 25).
The 16th-ranked Trojans will close out the regular season with a pair of road matchups at Huntington (Oct. 25) and No. 17 Grace (Oct. 29).
