Taylor Women Named USTFCCCA NAIA Program-of-the-Year
USTFCCCA 2025 Program-of-the-Year Final Standings
NEW ORLEANS – For the first time in program history, the Taylor Women collected the USTFCCCA Program-of-the-Year Award announced on Tuesday.
The USTFCCCA Program of the Year Award honors the institution that has achieved the most success in each academic year (spanning the cross country, indoor track & field, and outdoor track & field seasons) based on the institution's finish at their respective Championships.
In order to be eligible for the award, teams must qualify for each of the Championships. Scoring is based on the team's finish at each Championship in cross country, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field (i.e. 1st = 1 point, 2nd = 2 points … 31st = 31 points) with the lowest total score for all three championships combined determining the award winner. Ties among schools split points for positions taken.
The women's programs accumulated 13 points after a second-place finish in cross country preceded fifth and sixth-place showings at the indoor and outdoor track and field championships.
The incredible year saw Taylor collect 18 NAIA All-American honors across cross country and track and field. Track and Field set seven new program records while having their best finish at both the indoor and outdoor NAIA National Championships. Cross County saw the team and individual records in the 5k and 6k shatter as well. Taylor had four individual NAIA National Champions throughout its historic campaign.
The Taylor women's cross country and track and field program will look to continue its ascent as one of the best in the NAIA next academic year, with a slew of top performers returning.
