Trojans Unanimous No. 1 in Latest NAIA Poll

UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor women's cross country team were the unanimous top-ranked team int eh latest NAIA Top-25 released on Thursday.

The Trojans have competed in one event this season at the IWU Twilight Invite, where they made a statement with a decisive first place showing. Taylor had a quartet of top-10 finishes en route to 35 points, over 40 less than the closet team.

The emphatic victory was made more impressive by the quality of opponents, as five ranked teams participated and two more receiving votes. TU ran a team time of 1:51.29, which placed sixth all-time in program history as a marker of things to come this season.

The Purple and Gray continue their season on Friday, September 26, at the Florida State Cross Country open, with the women running at 9:20 am.
