Hall, Wilchcombe Earn All-American Honors

GULF SHORES, Ala. – Matt Hall and Brandan Wilchcombe both raced their way to All-American honors for the Taylor men's track and field team on the final day of the NAIA National Championships on Saturday.
Wilchcombe capped off a great senior campaign with a strong race in the 110-meter hurdles. The senior clocked a time of 14.49 to finish in fifth place an earn All-American honors in the race. Wilchcombe adds the All-American accolades to a plethora of other accomplishments this season, including winning the 110-meter hurdles at the Crossroads League Championships last month.
Hall notched All-American honors for the second straight season in the 5,000-meter run with a strong strategic race. The sophomore displayed tremendous moxy throughout the event, battling the packed field of 29 racers to finish in seventh place. Hall held off multiple charges from competitors over the final two laps to secure a spot on the post-race podium, clocking a time of 15:10.69.
