Five Trojans Earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors
UPLAND, Ind. – Five members of the Taylor men's track and field team have been named 2015 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Taylor's Aaron Crull, Scott King, Clayton Orender, Ben Stuckey, and Josh Vahle were each announced as scholar-athletes.
In order to be eligible to be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status at their current institution.
Crull, King, Orender, Stuckey and Vahle were each honored as men's cross country NAIA Scholar-Athletes in the fall and were five of over 290 men's track and field student-athletes to earn the distinction this spring.
