Forbes Honored by Crossroads League After Pole Vault Win
UPLAND, Ind. – Josh Forbes was recognized on Monday by the Crossroads League, being named the CL Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week after his performance in the pole vault at the George Glass Invitational.
Forbes dominated his lone event of the afternoon, clearing 4.85 meters to win the pole vault competition. Forbes topped a group of 17 competitors and automatically qualified for Nationals in the event with the NAIA's second-best height of the young season.
The award is the first of the year for the men's track and field program and the third in the four-year career of Forbes. With the honor, Taylor Athletics has now secured 41 weekly league honors during the 2025-2026 year.
Forbes and the Trojan are set to return to action on February 7 at the Indiana Wesleyan Midwest Classic.
