Taylor Holds at No. 17 in Final Top 25 Poll
NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA revealed the sixth and final edition of the women's soccer coaches' poll on Wednesday, with Taylor remaining at the 17th spot and tied with Science and Arts (Okla.) in the Top 25 rankings. The Trojans will learn their postseason fate during the NAIA Selection Show, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 14.
TU (13-2-3, 5-2-2 CL) held steady in the latest rankings with nine fewer points (212) than the previous polling (221). The Trojans surfaced just two points behind the 16th-ranked squad, Cumberland (Tenn.).
The TU women's soccer program has now appeared in five consecutive Top 25 polls for the third time since 2016 (2016, 2017, 2025). A month ago, the Trojans matched the highest ranking in program history after appearing at 16th in the poll released on Oct. 15.
As they seek a potential at-large bid to the national tournament, the Trojans rank second in the Crossroads League and 21st nationally in shots per game (20.3), while sitting third in the CL and 44th nationally in goals per game (2.83). The Trojans have outscored opponents by a combined margin of 51-7 during the 2025 fall campaign.
Defensively, TU has furnished 11 shutouts in 18 matches – tying the team single-season record for most clean sheets after playing to a scoreless draw at No. 21 Spring Arbor in the Crossroads League Tournament. The 11 shutouts mark the 10th-highest total in the NAIA, while the Trojans have conceded the third-fewest goals (7) by any team this season.
The Crossroads League continues to show itself as one of the toughest conferences across the NAIA, with five squads sitting among the Top 25 teams including No. 2 Marian, No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 14 Grace, No. 17 Taylor and No. 21 Spring Arbor.
If TU receives an at-large bid, the Trojans will compete next week in the NAIA First Round. The First and Second Round contests are scheduled for Nov. 20-22 and hosted at campus sites. The Trojans last qualified for the NAIA National Tournament in 2022.
