Anthony Sprints to Crossroads League Honors

INDIANAPOLIS – Taylor freshman Caleb Anthony has been named the Crossroads League Men's Track and Field Runner of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Anthony posted the fastest 60-meter hurdles time in the NAIA so far this season with a blistering clip of 8.17 on Saturday at the NCAA Division II Grand Valley State Open. Anthony earned a second place finish in the field of 24 and hit the NAIA A standard to punch his ticket to the NAIA Indoor National Championships.
This is the first weekly honor for Anthony.
The Trojans are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 4 when the Trojans compete in the Indiana Wesleyan Midwest Classic.
