TU Men Climb to No. 21 in USTFCCCA Ratings
UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor men's track and field team surged 23 spots into the USTFCCCA NAIA ratings index, cracking the Top-25 and coming in at No. 21 after a strong showing at the Indiana Wesleyan Midwest Classic.
The Trojans secured three wins at their most recent meet and hit NAIA A or B-standards in four different events.
For the season, TU has posted two NAIA-A marks, two NAIA-B marks and is currently ranked inside the top-15 in each of those events.
Nathan Burns and Josh Forbes have automatically qualified for NAIA Nationals in their events, with Burns currently ranking No. 4 in the NAIA in the 3,000-meters and Forbes sitting at No. 6 in the pole vault. TU's two provisional qualifiers also rank high, with Ryan Hanak at No. 6 in the 3,000-meters and Luke Harber at No. 15 in the 5,000-meters.
Taylor will send a small number of athletes to the Heartland Invite on February 13 and 14, before competing at the Crossroads League Championships on February 20 and 21.
