2015 at Taylor: As a junior Murray played in 36 games and was a starter in 33 for a Taylor team that finished the year with a 36-16 overall record…Was slotted into the lineup as either the catcher or designated player…Had a .985 fielding percentage from behind the plate…Provided a solid bat in the TU order and hit for an average of .276 with an on-base percentage of .349 and slugging percentage of .398…Produced 27 hits with six doubles, ten walks and two home runs on the year in 98 at-bats…Totaled 19 RBI and scored nine runs…Was a combined 4-7 with two doubles, three RBI and a run scored in the doubleheader sweep of Northwood (Fla.) on January 28…Ended the season on a six-game hitting streak before being injured in Taylor’s Crossroads League Tournament opener against Saint Francis…Belted her first career grand slam in the third inning of a 7-1 win against Mount Vernon Nazarene April 22 on Senior Day at Gudakunst Field…A Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Crossroads League recipient.
