INDIANAPOLIS – The Crossroads League announced its weekly award winners on Monday, and TU's Anna Gunderson was named the CL Player of the Week after helping the Trojans to a 6-0 week and extend its winning streak to 11 games.
The senior registered 11 hits in 20 at-bats for a team-high .550 average on the week, while also recording five runs, two doubles, a home run and six RBI in the Trojans' six wins.
The honor is the second of Gunderson's four-year career with the Purple and Gold and the first for the program in 2017.
Gunderson and the Trojans (19-10, 11-3 CL) will visit the Lancers (14-13, 7-5 CL) at Grace on Tuesday for two games at 3:00 pm, looking to extend their team-record 11-game winning streak.
