Bio
2025-2026 is the first year Matt Glidewell has been an assistant softball coach at Taylor University.
Glidewell comes to Taylor after serving as the Director of Sports Performance for six years at Carolina University Winston-Salem. Glidewell was responsible for the strength and conditioning programs for eight varsity teams.
In addition to his role in sports performance, Glidewell served as the assistant softball coach at Carolina for a span of three years, which included an appearance in the NCCAA Softball World Series.
Glidewell graduated from Guilford College with a degree in exercise and sports sciences.
Glidewell is married to his wife, Grace, who serves as the Head Coach for the Taylor softball program.
