TU Men Finish Third-of-12 at Kampen-Cosler Invitational
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Taylor men's golf team took third place in the 12-team Kampen-Cosler Invitational on Monday, posting rounds of 314 and 322 in windy conditions.
The Trojans were led on the leaderboard by Will Schuitema, who posted rounds of 76 and 81 to finish at 157 and in seventh position for his fourth top-10 showing of the year.
Tanner Conklin, Porter Dick and Matthew Albright battled to a three-way tie for 12th with 36-hole totals of 160.
Griffen VanErmen and Austin Craig also played well in Taylor's B lineup, as VanErmen shot a second-round 76 to end in ninth overall with a 158, and Craig was TU's six player to finish inside the top-25.
Taylor will play one final regular season tournament on April 21 at the Sagamore Shootout, before competing in the Crossroads League Championships on May 5 and 6.
