Men’s Golf Tourney Suspended for Weather with TU in Front

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The scheduled 36 holes of competition on day one of the 2026 Crossroads League Men's Golf Championships were cut short by heavy rain and lightning on Monday, causing the opening round to be suspended until Tuesday and the tournament to be cut to 36 holes.
Taylor was off to a hot start on Monday, battling to a tie atop the standing with No. 14 Marian and two-over par when play was halted. No. 20 Indiana Wesleyan was two strokes back in third place at four-over.
All but Taylor, Marian and Indiana Wesleyan had completed the opening round, but those three teams will have between three and five holes left in the first round when play resumes on Tuesday morning at Coyote Crossing Golf Club.
Davis Formsma and Will Schuitema will enter the final day of the event tied for fifth at even-par when their opening round resumes. Tanner Conklin and Aaron Fulda are just back at one-over and in a tie for ninth.
Play is set to resume on Tuesday at 8:00 am with the Trojans aiming for their seventh league title in the past 10 years and their first since 2022.
