White Earns Weekly Crossroads League Honor

INDIANAPOLIS – Taylor senior Haley White has been named the Crossroads League women's track and field athlete of the week, the league office announced Monday.

White notched a new career-best throw of 38.56 meters to capture sixth place in the javelin at the University of South Florida Invitational last week. White was the top NAIA athlete in the field and finished ahead of several athletes from NCAA Division I institutions.

The 2014 Crossroads League champion in the javelin, this is the first Crossroads League athlete of the week honor for White.
