Blagg Earns Crossroads League Weekly Award

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its weekly awards on Monday, naming Rachel Blagg as the Women's Track Athlete of the Week. This is the fifth consecutive week a member of the Taylor women's track and field team has landed a weekly nod from the League.

This past weekend at the Crossroads League Championships, Blagg took home three league titles and helped the Trojans run away with the 2018 Crossroads League Team Championship. Blagg recorded individual Crossroads League championship-winning performances in the 1,500 and 800-meter runs with times of 4:39.80 and 2:18.08, respectively. She also helped the TU women's 4x800-meter relay team set a new meet record of 9:10.14, which is also a new Taylor record as well.

Blagg and the TU women's track and field team will return to action on Thursday and Friday at the North Central College Invite, which will serve as their final prep for the NAIA National Championships later this month.
