Women's Track and Field Picks Up Two All-American Awards
UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor women's outdoor track and field teams finished their season with a strong showing at the NAIA National Championships recently. The Trojans received two All-American performances from two student-athletes at the national meet.
Mollie Gamble and Ahna VanderWall collected NAIA All-American honors during the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. Gamble earned a sixth-place finish in the 10,000-meters on the first day of competition, while VanderWall picked up a fifth-place finish in the steeplechase on the final day.
In order to receive All-American accolades, an athlete must finish among the top-eight in an individual event or a relay in the finals at the NAIA National Championships.
