Siefert Claims CL Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week Honor

JACKSON, Mich. – Kiana Siefert collected her first CL Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week award of the year after an impressive display at the Little State Championships.
The junior began the weekend by carding a victory in the triple jump with a leap of 36 feet nine inches. Siefert was making her outdoor season debut in the triple jump and outleapt second place by over six inches for a commanding victory.
Siefert returned to the field the next day and finished second in the long jump with a season-best distance of 18 feet 2.25 inches. The Noblesville, Indiana native added a fifth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles for a total of 22 points scored to help Taylor finish runners up at the Little State Championships.
The Trojans have collected 55 Athlete of the Week Awards throughout the 2024-25 school year, with women's outdoor track bringing in a pair.
Taylor takes the track and field next on Thursday, May 1, at the Crossroads League Championships in Marion, Indiana.
