TU Secures Four Event Wins at George Glass Invitational
UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor women's indoor track team continued its season on Saturday at its George Glass Invitational and came away with four event wins and one national qualifying performance.
Kiana Siefert led the way with two wins, topping the field in the 60-meter hurdles and long jump and hitting the NAIA B-standard in the long jump. Siefert posted a time of 8.98 in the 60-meter hurdles finals and posted a winning leap of 5.73 meters in the long jump.
Nicole Braz Domene also turned in a second-straight strong showing with wins in the 600-meters and 4x400-meter relay. The junior crossed in 1:39.41 in the 600 and joined with Annabel Parker, Taylor Post and Adeline Draper to win the 4x400 with a time of 4:14.25.
Marlina Howell posted third-place finishes in the mile and 3,000-meters, Parker took fourth in the 600 and Blessing Ogbeiwi finished fifth in the 200-meters.
Taylor will return to action on February 7 at the Indiana Wesleyan Midwest Classic.
