Trojans Take Second at Saint Francis Invite
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Taylor competitive cheer team resumed its 2026 season on Friday night at the Saint Francis Invite, posting its best score of the young season and finishing second-of-four teams at the event.
The Trojans finished with a score of 88.78, logging the fifth-best score in program history and giving TU four new scores in its all-time top-10 in as many performances this season.
The outing raised Taylor's season scoring average to 87.46, which maintained TU's spot at No. 4 in the NAIA.
No. 4 TU will continue its season with the Arch City Cup and Columbia Cougar Classic in Saint Louis, Missouri on February 20 and 21, with Taylor set to perform twice at each event.
