Taylor Finishes 11th at Cheer National Championships
TOPEKA, Kan. – Taylor capped its historic 2026 season on Saturday in the final round of the NAIA National Championships. The Trojans moved up one spot in the standings to finish 11th in their first-ever trip to Nationals.
TU posted a mark of 82.52 in Friday's preliminary round, which counted for 25-percent of its overall score at Nationals. The Trojans entered Saturday in 12th place and moved up one spot with a Saturday score of 84.05 to finish at 83.67 for the weekend.
In addition to making its first-ever trip to NAIA Nationals this season, Taylor also secured the first Crossroads League Championship in program history and registered its two best scores and five of its best 10 scores in program history during its historic sixth season as a varsity collegiate sport.
