Cheer Takes Second Overall at Arch City Cup
ST. LOUIS – Taylor took the mat on Friday for the fifth time in the 2026 season and for its first of back-to-back performances in Saint Louis over the weekend. The Trojans performed well once again, taking second-of-five teams in the first round of the Arch City Cup, hosted by the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy.
TU posted a score of 86.30, placing second in the team standings only to Indiana Wesleyan's mark of 87.63. The score was TU's eighth-best mark in program history and gave the Trojans five new top-10 all-time marks already this season.
No. 8 Taylor will compete again on Saturday, with a single performance at 3:40 pm (ET) in the Columbia Cougar Classic.
