Men’s Golf Garners All-Crossroads League Accolades

UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor men's golf team was well represented on the recently announced 2025-2026 All-Crossroads League Team, leading the league with six all-league nods.
Will Schuitema, Tanner Conklin and Aaron Fulda led the way with First-Team All-CL awards, while Fulda was named the CL Newcomer of the Year. Kyle Kasitz, Ben Oakley and Davis Formsma were also recognized as Honorable Mention All-CL standouts.
Schuitema received his third-straight First-Team All-Crossroads League honor after leading Taylor with a 74.0 scoring average and eight rounds of par-or-better over his 24 rounds and 10 events this season. The senior shot six rounds in the 60s, was TU's top finisher in three events and racked up one win and five top-five performances. Along with being voted First-Team All-CL, Schuitema was also recently named PING NAIA All-Midwest Region for his standout season.
Conklin earned First-Team All-CL honors after being named Honorable Mention All-CL the previous two seasons. The junior played in 24 rounds over 10 tournaments for the Trojans, posting a scoring average of 74.3 with an average finish of 16.3. Conklin was consistent throughout, finishing inside the top-10 in seven-of-10 events.
Fulda made an immediate impact for the Trojans and was voted the Crossroads League Newcomer of the Year, in addition to his spot as a First-Team All-CL performer. The freshman followed Porter Dick in giving TU back-to-back CL Newcomer-of-the-Year honors and posted a 74.5 scoring average over 19 rounds of competition. In his eight tourneys, Fulda posted four top-10 finishes and one individual victory.
Kasitz closed his collegiate career with a third-straight Honorable Mention All-CL nod. The senior averaged a score of 76.0 over his 23 rounds of action and logged two individual titles and four top-five finishes among his 10 tournaments this season.
Oakley also collected Honorable Mention All-CL status by posting a scoring average of 74.6 and an average finish of 11.1. The sophomore played 17 rounds over eight tournaments for TU and posted a pair of top-five showings.
Formsma rounded out Taylor's list of six athletes to be recognized, earning Honorable Mention All-CL honors in his first collegiate campaign. The freshman turned in a pair of top-five finishes among his 10 tournaments and averaged a score of 76.0 in his 24 rounds of play.
That group helped the Trojans win six-of-11 tournaments during the 2025-2026 season. TU's second-place finish at the Crossroads League Championships gave the Purple and Gray nine top-five finishes on the year.
RV Taylor is poised for another strong season in 2026-2027, with Conklin, Fulda, Oakley and Formsma giving TU four All-League performers among its nine projected returns.
