Chad Nelson dominated the ground game, picking up a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference and Taylor single-game record of 23 ground balls, with Aidan Craig expanding his NAIA-leading assist total with eight helpers in the contest.
Emmit Wintek continued his goal-scoring ways with four more tallies, while Carter Prieditis netted three and Teegan Heiniger scored twice.
As has been the case throughout TU's first seven games, the Trojans had their way during the fourth quarter, posting a 5-1 scoring advantage over the final 15 minutes to put the game away. Taylor fired off 19 shots in the quarter, collected 19 ground balls and won six faceoffs in the final period.
