Taylor took full advantage of performing in front of a home crowd for the only time this season by posting a team score of 85.00 on Friday evening at its own Trojan Invite. The score broke the program record of 82.03, which was set two weeks prior and gave Taylor a string of four-straight record-breaking performances to open the 2023 season.

The home of the Taylor volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, and competitive cheer teams is Odle Arena.
On Friday evening, the Taylor University cheer team hosted its first-ever competitive cheer competition inside Odle Arena. The Trojan Invitational featured the St. Francis University cheer team, alongside the Taylor Trojan cheer team, at the end of which five senior student-athletes were honored for their time in the TU cheer program.
This week's TU Athlete of the Week is flyer Emma-Kate Moore. The sophomore helped the TU cheer team 'hit zero' for the first time as a program at last weekend's Wildcat Invitational.
