Men's Lacrosse Collects WHAC Honors
UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor men's lacrosse team recently collected four awards from the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, earning one WHAC Champions of Character honor and three Academic All-WHAC nods.
Garrett Sisson represented Taylor on the eight-man WHAC Champions of Character Team, following former Trojan, Josiah Peterson, as the only two student-athletes to win the honor for the Purple and Gold.
Teegan Heiniger, Jordan Laing and Nathanael Love were also honored as Academic All-WHAC performers in the classroom. In order to qualify for the recognition, student-athletes must have reached junior or senior status academically with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 and above.
