Taylor Improves Program-Best Rank to No. 8

UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor men's lacrosse program made more history on Wednesday, ranking No. 8 in the first NAIA Top-25 Poll of the regular season for the highest ranking in program history.

Taylor jumped two spots and nearly doubled its point total from the preseason poll, earning 28 points in the latest rankings.

The Trojans opened the season at No. 10 in the preseason ratings, before winning three of their first four outings, including a road win over then-No. 4 Webber International. TU's lone defeat came on the road at unbeaten, No. 10 SCAD Savannah.

No. 8 Taylor (3-1) will continue its season on Saturday, February 28, with a 1:00 pm home clash against Missouri Baptist (1-2) at Wheeler Field.
