Taylor Comes in at No. 9 in New Men’s Lacrosse NAIA Poll
UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor men's lacrosse team dropped one spot to No. 9 in the new NAIA Top-10 Poll, remaining inside the top-10 for the third-straight ranking.
Taylor dipped just five points overall in the poll, with the slight decrease being enough to lower the Purple and Gray in the rankings by one position.
The Trojans have hit a bit of a rough stretch since opening at 5-1 and now sit at 6-4 after suffering losses in three of their last four, with two defeats coming against No. 3 Aquinas and now-No. 7 Indiana Tech.
Despite the recent struggles, Taylor enters the second half of the season just one win shy of matching last season's program record win total.
No. 9 TU (6-4, 2-3 WHAC) will return to action on Wednesday, April 1 at 3:00 pm when it hosts No. 1 Madonna (9-1, 5-0 WHAC) at Wheeler Field.
