Fletchall Tabbed at CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-American

AUSTIN, Texas – Taylor University's Molly Fletchall was named as a CoSIDA Google Cloud Second Team Academic All-American as announced on Monday by the College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The prestigious 2017-2018 Academic All-American At-Large Team College Division consisted of both an 11-member first and second team comprised of student-athletes that compete in golf, field hockey, lacrosse, rowing, swimming and tennis.
Fletchall, a junior, posted a 3.94 grade-point average in communications. The Carmel, Indiana, native tallied a season record of 12-9 by playing number one singles for the Trojans while also going 11-11 in number one doubles play.
Taylor now boasts 73 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans in school history with 40 first-team selections.
The CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-America Award is voted on by members of CoSIDA, recognizing the finest student-athletes from around the nation at NAIA, Canadian and two-year institutions. A student-athlete must be nominated by their sports information director, must have reached sophomore status academically with a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average and must be a key contributor to be eligible for the honor.
